A Walking We Will Go

We went on a walk last weekend. It was beautiful day out. There was a slight crispness to the air, sunny and no breeze. We wanted to "explore" so there is a park with trails, hills, and creeks that aren't paved. We headed there. I had my camera out at the beginning, but didn't take a lot of pictures. Nick gets disgusted with me. Here's him walking ahead of me.

We started on a trail that looked pretty intense. Hills, bumps, crossed over a little creek. Jumping over rocks. Went back up the hill and discovered this sign.

After a short discussion on the pros and cons of continuing on this trail or the one to the left that said no hikers and no bikes we decided to keep going. Until we saw another one. We then decided to head back and find a "hiker trail."

We did and were having fun. There was a stream to the left of us that was really calm and then we went around a corner and saw this

it was gorgeous. It was a really good time. We're just bummed that we didn't find it earlier in the fall season. If it ends up being pretty nice this weekend we might go try another trail.
