It's 11:30 on Sunday night...I've been up since 5:30(woke up to Nick puking, but that's another story)...and since I had a bit too much pop too late, I can't sleep.
What better time than now to update my blog, right?
Kinzie is 4 days away from turning 1! Where has the last year gone? Seriously? I can remember the week before she was born like it was yesterday! How have we gone through the first year so fast? She is amazing, I hear everyday, "You are so lucky to have such a mellow and easy going baby!" And I am, truly! She does have her moments, but they are definitely fewer and farther in between than the mellow, easy going moments! She has been on table food for over 3 months, which makes like ten times easier! She is almost completely on Vitamin D milk! She is also down to just one bottle-at nighttime! She has been pretty easy to get off her bottle, I could probably take away that night bottle, but I still occasionally get cuddling out of it and I"m not quite ready to give that up yet. Maybe next week! She just started cruising on the furniture on Friday and being interested in walking with us holding our hands...so, I'm guessing in the next month or so...we may have a full-fledged walker on our hands...not quite ready for that!
Nick is doing pretty darn well...it's that time of the year that we all dread and love at the same time..Harvest! He has earned his work trip for the 2nd year, so we will be going to Costa Rica in January! It will be super fun to go there when it's freezing back home! He is pretty stressed with some cut-off dates and some huge changes that have been happening with management and co-workers...I spend a lot of time listening to him vent and encouraging him. Can't wait til harvest is done and he can work some shorter days.
I'm hanging in there. I moved up to first grade this year and as much as I love it, it's a ton of work! need to spend some serious time at school this week to just catch up and prep for the next few weeks! This week is our fall break, its the last one that is a week long! The week long break is much needed. I have a lot of things that I want to get done and I know that nearly none of it will get done, but if I get to spend time with Kinzie and do just a few things for myself that will make it worth it! I also have a doctor appointment tomorrow for some nasty headaches that I've been having. I'm slightly worried about them, and anxious to have some answers to why I've been having them so much and why they are so intense
