Wow! It's been a month! Lots has happened...Of course the most exciting and also frustrating thing has been our new baby! We got a Golden Retriever puppy. We named her Sadie. She's been with us two weeks. Eventually we should be able to sleep through the night!
I'm applying for different teaching jobs within the district. I'm trying to get into Kindergarten or First. It is a struggle, but I'm being patient and know that if not this year, maybe next year. I do have a job with preschool still, but I will move to a different school and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
We had a busy weekend. We worked a lot outside, cleaned the cars, the garage, put together our patio swing. We hung plastic in the basement to get it ready to drywall and to prevent Sadie from getting insulation.
This week I have several meetings/classes. It will be another long week. Nick is got an awful cold so he is a little crabby with that. He's trying not to get me sick, says that he doesn't want me to feel like he does...so no kissing....but I miss him.
I really hope it doesn't rain all week, but the clouds have rolled in here, so I have a feeling that is what we are in for. YUCK! I hate mud, so does Sadie!
