Oh What A Weekend

What a crazy and fun weekend! Friday night I went to Omaha and saw some really good friends. Girls that I needed time with, that I hadn't gotten since maybe my wedding! We laughed, we cried, had serious moments, seriously funny moments and just a good time! It was so needed. I almost didn't go, and until I got home on Saturday morning, I didn't realize how much I needed to go. Saturday, Nick and I ran errands. Saturday evening we went to a Bull and Shrimp Feed in Liberty. I had ham! Sunday was a sleep-in morning. Sunday afternoon I went to a bridal fair and then we worked in the garage. I now know the difference between a socket, a drive and a lots of other different tools! Then we went into my parents, saw my nephew Tristan. He looks so good! You would never know that he was a preemie! He is almost standing and he's got squishy puffy cheeks. He is so strong! We had dinner with my family and cherry pie and ice cream for dessert! Then we came home and watched TV and relaxed! This week will be crazy! Nick has a semi of seed coming tomorrow, plus he has to go out to Illinois. He'll be gone until late Wed night/early Thurs. morning. I always miss him when he is gone, but maybe I'll get some things done around the house. Saturday starts 3 weeks in a row for craft shows! Ooh! I can hardly wait!

February

This month has been busy. We had our first dinner party! One of my dear friends is expecting! We went to Kentucky and went to the national farm show and tractor pull. This weekend we have a going away party, a bridal shower and a wedding fair. (So the last two are mine.) We're itching to get outside and get some things done out there. If only the cold weather would go away. I'm ready for chirping birds, green grass, flowers blooming and strawberries! Come Spring, Come!
