Seriously Impulsive Swap

I participated with Miss Impulsive and Shawn in their Seriously Impulsive Swap!   I got this lovely package from  Impulsive Addict herself!  The pics are a little blurry, because I had to be fast!
Kinzie was all over her present!  (Or what she thought was hers!)   Each present was wrapped with a cute little note!

Kinzie got some treats!   She screamed when she saw the Dora fruit snacks, but as soon as she saw that Marshmallow cupcake, that was all she could focus on!

Baby even got a treat!

And I got spoiled!
Some great pens!  (I took them both to school, so Nick or Kinzie wouldn't steal them!)  Some shopping money that I will use on clothes as soon as the baby bump disappears!  And the most amazing lip gloss/chapstick!   I love the soft mint (tastes like mint chip ice-cream!)
Some adorable flip-flops for the summer!   Can't wait to break these out!
A TWIN package of 3 Musketeers, A Big bag of M's and some delicious gum!  The 3 Musketeers were gone by the next day.   Kinzie helped me polished the M's over the weekend and I've got through half the package of gum already!

Thank you so much IA and Shawn for hosting such a great swap!

Snow Fun!

Kinzie hadn't been out in the snow since she was 4 months old!   (This was February 17, 2010!)  Last year every time it snowed it was always incredibly cold and she wasn't really walking well either, so it just wasn't good.

This year I knew that she would love the snow, so we waited and waited and waited and finally it snowed!   She had a cold and it was still pretty chilly but she loved the nos (it's really cute when she says it!) Here are some pictures of her her first time out!
Trying to walk and get through the snow.   It was a little like Randy from A Christmas Story

Daddy pulling me in the sled!   She loved it!   I'm pretty sure we'll be finding a hill to go down next year!
Since this we've had snow in the house multiple times,  we have to stop and play in snow piles and her nows is always being talked about!

I hope it snows one more time, if its nicer this weekend, we'll probably go out again and see if we can have some more nows fun!

Talk To Us Tuesday

I'm linking up with  IA and Shawn for Talk to us Tuesday.    There's no rules, which is nice.   I'm not one to follow rules.   I'm swapping with these lovely ladies and so hopefully it'll help me get back to blogging a bit.

I don't Twitter and I don't want to be one of those who update Facebook 7 times a day, so  I thought I'd give you some fun ones that I would have put on if I was one of those people.    I need a quirky title.   It's been a long day, and the creative juices are gone!

*Two years later and Nick still can't handle a messy poop.   Granted it was just out of bath, no diaper and on the towel....but still, come on!

*SERIOUSLY......It's so cold out there!   Kinzie got a kick out of seeing her breath!

*Bruised ego, butt, back and head is so much better than what could have happened!   That black ice is a DOOZY!

*Dear Cee-Lo, You're cool and all, but petting that white cat.  Just not cool, and a tad freaky!

and because we can't have a post without a cute picture of Kinzie, here she is eating licking cookie dough off the counter the first time we made cookies at home.    I get asked at least once a night:  "Mommy, mix?"   We've made cookies twice, cake and brownies.   I'm pretty sure there is no end in sight to this now!

Knock, Knock...

Is anyone out there?  Holy Cow, it's been 8 months since I've posted.    I'm doing a swap with  IA and Shawn and wanted to get a couple posts in so that my new bloggy friend would know a bit about me!

Let's do a little recap:

We had a great summer, lots of time in the pool, and water.

Kinzie got to meeet her hero's this summer:   Dora and Boots.

She also experienced her first fair.   I always said I'd never let her ride a  ride that could be assembled and unassembled in a day.    She loved it!   We'll have to rely on her uncles to take her on rides as she grows up, since mom and dad are not the biggest fan of rides!

We made our trek to the pumpkin patch this fall and she also turned 2!   We had a full blown Dora Adventure.   She got a Dora Big Sister doll, that we announced at her party would help her practice because she is going to be a big sister next June!

Christmas was fabulous!   She loved opening presents-she had to open everyone else's too!   She got a gator from Santa, we got to ride it on Christmas morning it was so nice!

With all the transitions that are coming up, we converted her crib to a toddler bed.  She will be getting a new room and a new bed soon!

Well, there in a flash is what has happened since June!
