I wish I could

So Mama Kat gave a writing assignment, and I jumped! I've been busy, I mean REALLY busy, I've succumbed back into slinking around reading blogs, not posting. But trust me, it's not just you. It's my email, my facebook, my laundry and my dishes, my husband, my dog, its everything! I'm so mentally and physically exhausted, it's everything I can do to drive home and change my clothes and veg on the couch; let alone try to write a blog. Plus I really don't like those whiny people...and I'd turn into that on the blog, if I wrote about it everyday.

So, without further ado...here goes Writing Prompt #1
I wish I could.....

Sing, really sing...not just singing in the shower or car or with Kindergartners who don't care

Be more self disciplined....this would accomplish a variety of I wishes

Function better on less sleep-Less than 7 hours and I'm toast

Be organized...I try, I say I am, but really I'm not and it drives me NUTS!

Devote more time to people without feeling like I'm shortchanging Mr. Corn

Scrapbook, I really want to but I just don't, can't, won't...

Not worry about money and do things that would make my heart happy

That's enough....I like this MamaKat. This will be happening more!

Oh I love this, Becky. I know what you mean about shortchanging your hubby; I feel the same way sometimes. But just remember that if you don't take time to be with friends, you'll end up with acquaintances. That's something I learned the hard way when we first got married. It took a lot of time to get back to friends with people.

I'm right there with you on a lot of those. How nice would it be to spend money without worrying! Darn economy!

Yeah...I feel like Maile could get tested in to Kindegarten this year, but I'd rather wait and let her be the oldest in her class. Besides...she may be spot on as far as book smarts go...but I think she has some growing to do socially, and she's extremely shy. I need a year to bring her out of her shell a little, maybe build up some confidence.

Are the the young ones in your class struggling?
