I Know, I Know

Holy Cow! It's been over 4 months since I've written and since I've had our b-e-a-utiful daughter, Kinzie. She is perfect in every way! I could go on and on and on!

Currently she:
~weighs about 16 lbs and she’s 26 inches long! She’s my chunky monkey!
~is SOOOOO close to rolling over! She’s done it twice in the last week, but I think they were both lucky shots! I know she can do it. Any day now!
~loves to giggle. I don’t help this, because she’s ticklish and I’ve found her spots.
~loves VH1. (This is her daddy’s doing.)
~can track and will track anything!
~has started to try and sit up. It’s so much more fun to look out when sitting up then look up when laying down!
~has started to eat oatmeal, applesauce and sweet potatoes. She loves food! She hasn’t quite mastered swallowing her food yet, but she is doing SOOO much better than a week ago. She eats cereal/fruit in the am and cereal/veggie in the evening.
~has finally gotten on a really good schedule and is pretty dang consistent!

These are just a few of her awesome skills! She was baptized this past Sunday and did really well! It was a long day and incredibly tiring for all of us, but it was a great day filled with amazing friends and family! Here is a picture of her in her dress. This is the dress that I wore and my mom wore too! It’s 54 years old and was still in very good shape!

As for my adjustment to parenthood. It’s going very well! It helps that Kinzie sleeps through the night. I know I’m very fortunate! We’ve got a pretty good system and schedule going right now, which also helps. Some days we don’t do anything but hang out and cuddle when we get home from work, some days I get a ton done. Either way, she is my most important priority and the rest is small stuff!

4 months old already. Doesn't it go by fast? I mean, I'm fairly sure Tristan was born just yesterday and here he is popping the bubbles of my gum. lol And then there's Isaac who has thrown us for a loop by tossing everything out of the window that we thought we knew about child-rearing. It's terrific. Glad to hear all is well.
